Join us this Saturday for the 10th Annual Hunts Point Fish Parade & Summer Festival! This year’s Grand Marshalls are Los Seis Del Sur, Bronx-based social documentary photographers Ricky Flores, David Gonzalez, Joe Conzo, Angel Franco, Edwin Pagan & Francisco Reyes.
Saturday will be a great day of fun for the entire family. Come and march in the parade (prizes will be awarded for best costumes and floats!). Then, join The Laundromat Project for some art-making at Barretto Point Park between 12 and 4 PM, where we’ll be offering our popular, free silk-screening workshop to the festival.
There will be tons of music and entertainment, including a celebration of hip-hop’s 40th anniversary, featuring Popmaster Fabel Pabon on the wheels of steel and Earl Skinner & Joahan Suarez of Beats, Rhymes, and Life.
Other performers will include: Circa ’95, Chief 69 & Floor Royalty Crew, the PS 48 Marching Band, Columbus Campus pep band and more!
