Overview

The Laundromat Project is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our website, make a donation, and when you place a purchase through our online shop. By visiting www.laundromatproject.org, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of The Laundromat Project’s Data Collection Policy, as described below. The policy may be changed or updated at any time.

Data Collection Policy

If you make a donation, register for an event, or register for our newsletter, we may collect your name, mailing address, telephone number, email address and/or credit card information as part of the process. If you provide personal information, we may enter that information into our constituent database and contact you in order to:

  • Supply you with information, including news, events and services, which you can opt out of at any time
  • Request voluntary time or monetary contributions to The Laundromat Project

We use high-grade encryption and security protocols (Secure Socket Layer-SSL) when processing financial transactions and gathering visitor information. This method is the industry standard security protocol, which makes it difficult for anyone to intercept the information you send us. At The Laundromat Project, data is stored on password-protected servers. While our staff is educated about the importance of protecting your information, such precautions do not guarantee that our website is invulnerable to all security breaks. The Laundromat Project makes no warranty, guarantee or representation that the use of our website is protected from viruses, security threats or other vulnerabilities and that your information will always be secure.
