BIO

leon james is first and foremost a photographer. He dabbles in writing and other smart guy pursuits. In the past he has been co-director of the Newark Black Artist Oral History Project, an adjunct lecturer at Brooklyn College, Managing Producer for a Radio program on WBAI called Afrobeat Radio, and Web-Reporter for Peace Boat, a Japanese NGO. On occasion he is asked to join the staff of experiential learning conferences at the likes of Columbia and Morgan State University, designed to blow people’s minds and get them thinking about what happens in groups and why that knowledge is important to the lives we live and share with others.
